Wedding Car - Wedding Car Hire

The choice of the type of vehicle is very important, taking the volume of wedding dress material into account, the season for the likely weather and the traveling distance. The other important consideration is - the level of service you expect.

An open top car or an open carriage on a windy day can play havoc with the bride's make-up, hair and even the dress it's self!

Try to blend the cars into the style or theme of the wedding - Modern, Classic or Vintage - Daimler, Jaguar, Mercedes or Rolls Royce? Looks are definitely important but remember to be practical too! A horse drawn carriage is only practical over short distances if it is to be combined with motorcars.

Consider choosing a firm or firms that specialise in weddings rather than a firm who runs wedding cars as a bolt on business to some other vehicle enterprise. Examine the quote carefully especially the cheaper one as they may only be from A to B rather than being a dedicated vehicle available for the whole duration - photographs, champagne run, etc.

You need to consider the number of vehicles too - One, two, three or even four! One for the bride and her father, one for the mother of the bride and the bride's attendants, one for the groom and best man (not usual these days) and one for honoured guests who haven't got their own transport - an elderly Granny with Aunty Edna or Uncle Barry from Australia. Consider coaches for large parties as they can be useful. Arrival by helicopter is not unknown either.

A wedding car hire can be a lengthy period of anything from three hours to half a day or longer! So take your time choosing - but book as early as you can.
